Got a new review today I wanted to share, for my AIDS-era love story, CAREGIVER.
Out in Print does an excellent job with its reviews--they often make me think about my work in new and different ways. And this review, by Jerry Wheeler, is no exception. He says, in part, "It’s also hard not to like a book that has such clear, concise prose and interesting plot twists. And I did like it. Very much. I just wish there had been about a hundred more pages of it..." That, in a nutshell is the praise and the criticism of the book--and criticism like that, I can live with.

Visiting London and Milan, March 2012
I just returned from a trip to London and Milan with my partner. We had an amazing time (it's pretty hard not to in these world-class cities).
What struck me, though, about this trip was how connected we were with people not only back home but in other parts of the world as we traveled and posted our pics and locations on Facebook. I don't know that there has ever been a time in history when we could interact so immediately with people and share our experiences. For example, we went to the top of Milan's Duomo and, within minutes, we could share that exhilarating and awesome experience with so many other people. It's truly amazing. Social networking may get a bad rap in some quarters, but I truly saw it this time as a very unifying force.
If you'd like to see some of the pictures from our trip, check out the links below.

CHASER is accepted by Dreamspinner Press
I'm happy to report I just signed the contract this morning for my latest novel, CHASER. Look for it to
appear in ebook and trade paperback sometime in July of this year.
For more about the book, see my previous blog post for a synopsis.
